Welcome to Fields Playground Group’s web site. Our country as well as our state of Ohio where hit out of the blue with COVID-19 in early 2020. Through no one’s fault we have all endured the sadness, death, and financial hardships with this virus. Our playground 501(c)(3) charitable organization was suddenly stopped in our tracks. All of our fundraising, donations, and business sponsorship efforts came to a sudden stop.

When April came around and the weather started to warm, it saddened me on my various park walks to see caution tape surrounding Ohio’s playgrounds.  Our special needs children could not understand the why. Our able-bodied children understood the caution but equally suffered.

Fields Playground Group’s board members wanted to let you know we are more determined than ever to make this playground happen! We have dusted ourselves off and with renewed Hope, Faith, and Determination will be working harder to fulfill our dream for the first all-inclusive playground in Portage County! We hope you too will continue to support us.

Our motto has never been more true: When you do for the least of these, you do for me.

Thank you,
Susan Monegan
President, Fields Playground Group
