Frequently Asked Questions

Q: “What is an all-inclusive playground?”

A: This playground is designed for children with, and without special needs. Children of ALL abilities and disabilities.

Q: “When will the playground be built?”

A: We have just started our fundraising efforts.  $500,000 is a lot of money. When we reach this goal Gametime has stated it would take them 2 weeks to build. The pour and play must have certain temperatures to be poured and then cured. We continue to write for grants and research federal monies. Fingers crossed, we are hoping for the Summer of 2021.

Q: “Will you have bathrooms?”

A: Yes, we will work very closely with Randolph Township on this endeavor. They will be ADA compliant. We are hoping with donations, grants, federal funding, and in-kind donations to include a family bathroom. We are continuing to raise funding for accessible family style restrooms for the playground.

Q: “Will the playground be fenced in?”

A: Yes. We are working to raise funding to install an elopement fence to keep children safe and visible from both sides of the fence. We hope to have this installed shortly after the playground is up, once funding is secured.
